Dear Parents, With great sadness and disbelief I heard of such horrific news. Terri was my hairdresser and friend for many many years in La Jolla and we shared many memorable times together, particularly when she and Steve went to Europe together and I had the joy of babysitting Bonzai for 3 weeks in my condo downtown. The fact that she entrusted me with this precious dog made me realize how special a relationship we had. She was such a lovely dear person, and so beautiful, I always said she looked like a movie star. I first met Terri when she was a patient of my son, a chiropractor in Pacific Beach and he had a very special connection with Terri, diet, spirituality and both my son and she had just gotten the Wheaton Terriers, her Bonzai and my son's dog Sid. The dogs often met up at victor Magna and played together on many occasions. Sometimes Terri and I would rendez-vous and discuss health, romance and travel stories. I am married and my husband and she also had such a special feeling for each other as he would always tell her in front of me how sweet and loving a person she was, not to forget a terrific kind hairdresser. I've heard so many nice things about her parents and she was always so excited to go back and visit. Unfortunately, I had not seen Terri for awhile and the other night my friend from La Jolla, who often met me at Victor Magna after my hair appointment, called to say "By the way, did you hear about Terri?" "No, I answered, I've been away and what's happened". She told me the terrible news and I immediately called Steve to confirm what I had heard. So Sorry I missed the memorial service but with the photo of Bonzai and my husband and I, it will always remain on my dresser with the most loving memories 0f Terri. I'm so sad that she is no longer here, it's hard to imagine not bumping into her again when I'm in the village of LaJolla. Please, dear parents, accept our deepest condolences on behalf of my husband, Pete and I and let us hope the wonderful memories of your dear daughter will help to sustain you and your family through the coming days.
